HVAC UV Lights Eliminate Air Borne Contaminants

UV systems are installed in the HVAC unit and/or ductwork and are designed to disinfect the air as it circulates through the ventilation system. Scientific research has identified that certain frequencies of light have a devastating effect on microbial life. Exposure to ultraviolet light in the range of 254 NM (UV-C band) disrupts the DNA of microorganisms and effectively kills them.

Designed to Eliminate Microorganisms like Coronavirus
Every microorganism, including coronavirus, requires a specific UVC dosage for inactivation. While Fresh-Aire UV systems have not been specifically tested against coronavirus, they have been tested and proven effective against similar pathogens, some that require an even greater dosage for inactivation than coronavirus.
