HVAC UV Lights Eliminate Air Borne Contaminants

UV disinfection technology is well understood and used in millions of facilities, healthcare centers, schools and residential homes around the world.

UV Air PurifiersUV light products for HVAC systems are the simple, safe, and effective way to keep your air system clean and improve indoor air quality.

UV systems are installed in the HVAC unit and/or ductwork and are designed to disinfect the air as it circulates through the ventilation system. Scientific research has identified that certain frequencies of light have a devastating effect on microbial life. Exposure to ultraviolet light in the range of 254 NM (UV-C band) disrupts the DNA of microorganisms and effectively kills them.

Removes Bacteria, Viruses, Mold and Fungus
Fresh-Aire UV systems are effective against bacteria, viruses, mold and fungus. Fresh-Aire UV systems have been tested and achieve up to a 99.999996% reduction on microorganisms. Factors that determine efficiency include, but are not limited to, the application, such as surface or air disinfection; air velocity and temperature; recirculation rates; dwell time; as well as the specific biological target.HVAC Air Purifier

Designed to Eliminate Microorganisms like Coronavirus
Every microorganism, including coronavirus, requires a specific UVC dosage for inactivation. While Fresh-Aire UV systems have not been specifically tested against coronavirus, they have been tested and proven effective against similar pathogens, some that require an even greater dosage for inactivation than coronavirus.

Please read the accompanying PDF attachment for more information on Fresh-Aire UV and the Coronavirus at Eliminating Contaminants.
